Our son loves the beach, the sea and all its inhabitants. Because Texel has also been on my wish list for ages, we therefore decided to celebrate his 2nd birthday on this Dutch island. And what better way to do that than in a luxury villa with a bath, a sauna (for mom and dad) and within walking distance of the National Park Dunes of Texel and the beach 😀 ! But whether we also recommend Villapark De Koog in Texel…. We share that with you in this blog article!
About Villapark De Koog in Texel
Villapark De Koog is a new villa park on Texel. It is within walking distance of the cozy seaside resort of De Koog, the National Park Dunes of Texel and the beach.
On the villa park there are three different types of villas for rent for four to twelve people. But what all villas have in common is that they are beautifully modern furnished with large windows and lots of light. Also, all villas have a sauna and the 6-person villa even has a private pool and a steam room. Wow!
What we also really like about the villas on Villapark De Koog in Texel is that, in addition to being very comfortable, they are also sustainable. There are heat pumps and solar panels that provide sustainably generated energy.
We stayed in a Luxury Family Villa for 6 people
For a midweek we were allowed to stay in a luxury family villa for 6 people. This exclusive large villa is incredibly beautiful and attractively modern furnished. For example, the living room has a large dining and sitting area with a designer fireplace and smart TV. Great for the kids too; because they can watch Netflix on here. And of course, if screen time is not an option, they can daydream and look outside through the beautiful large windows.
The open kitchen is also fully equipped. Among other things, you will find a dishwasher, combination microwave, four-burner electric stove and refrigerator.
In the family villa for 6 persons there are 3 spacious bedrooms with box-spring beds and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. There is also a lovely bathtub in one bathroom. Lana and Lyam spent hours playing in it to their hearts content.
There was also a wonderful luxury treat for mom and dad in the form of a beautiful sauna that is up to temperature in no time. So nice!
And did I mention that there is also a nice terrace and a storage room with washer/dryer and much more?
How we experienced our stay
Immediately when we opened the front door of the luxury family villa, we were in love. Because WOW! What is the family villa beautifully decorated! You can see that a lot of time, love and care has been put into it. There is attention to every detail. What you also see for example in the accessories and the carefully selected colors. There are little touches of love everywhere.
Even Jaimy (our dog child) was immediately impressed by the beautiful villa. The underfloor heating ensured that he could take a pleasant and relaxing nap even on the floor. For him, the surroundings were also really blissful! Villapark De Koog in Texel is in fact incredibly beautiful and green landscaped. Moreover, within a few minutes you are already walking on the cycle path of the National Park Dunes of Texel. Of course, this is at the risk of your life with all the German tourists renting bikes 😉 haha!
What made our stay at Villapark De Koog in Texel extra special is of course that we were able to celebrate Lyam’s 2nd birthday here. And honestly, we couldn’t have decorated a more beautiful place than this luxury family villa!
Final conclusion
We loved our stay at Villapark De Koog in Texel and can recommend it to anyone! The villas are beautifully decorated and equipped with all the luxury and love you could wish for. And the location is ideal!
A tip (also for our next visit); rent a (carrier) bike! The cycle paths on Texel are beautifully constructed and incredibly wide. And if you’re staying with kids in a luxury villa at Villapark De Koog in Texel, don’t forget to bring a bag with games and toys. This because there are no games and toys present in the villa.
But that didn’t spoil the fun! We found staying at Villapark De Koog in Texel absolutely a feast!
